Review: Models Prefer Infinite Colour Foundation

Hey beauties!

So I finally got the courage to try the Models Prefer Infinite Colour Foundation. I have heard so many pros and cons. I was kind of drawn too it because of the fact it says 12 hour all day wear.

So this post is first impressions!
I'll be writing my comments down as I am  trying it on!

Okay first of all, the packaging.. I thought it looked cute because i like packaging like this, kind of bulky and rectangular bottle, it looks similair to my bys foundation. But when i take the lid off it just feels tacky and cheap (which, price wise, its really not) when you take the lid off, theres yet another little nob you have to take off which i dont understand? Maybe to keep the foundation in more? It is verrrry thin and cremey so it would slide everywhere.

First I prime! I thought this foundation would really need This foundation is a creme, which isn't what i normally go for. When i put the foundation on my hand it is VERY thin. I needed to put a few layers on to my face to actually see that I was wearing foundation and not BB cream. And even with those three layers, you can still see the redness of my cheeks and beauty spots and what not. If you want a flawless look with your foundation, i wouldn't recommend this, after a few seconds of having the foundation on it looked like it was oozing into my pores and making them stand out even more! Not good :/ and not very good coverage! I was a tad bit scared it wouldn't be my skin tone but it was a perfect match so I was happy with that.

Instead of adding more layers of foundation I thought I would try hide them with concealer. So after I had done that, I added all my bronzer, blush, eyeshadow and finishing powder, I just went about my normal things. Cleaned my room, went to the mall, lay on the couch and watch tv for a bit.
Very sticky at first, but after about an hour it started to set and become dry enough that I could touch my face.

When i watch tv i do tend to touch my face just because i lean my face on my hand to keep my head up sometimes, so in doing that i smudged the foundation heaps. My other foundation are more matte and dont tend to smudge when touched.

I travel to darwin sometimes to visit my uncle aunty and cousins sometimes and you all know how hot and humid it is in darwin so i dont like to use a lot of make up because it will just glide right off, so this is a foundation i would probably use over there instead of my others.

If you like a foundation that is very thin so you can still see the redness/peachyness of your skin then definately try this out. Or if you live in a humid place. Its not a bad foundation but not one i would go to grab very often.

Thanks guys!

Make Blue Eyes stand out

So I have been trying to find colours that really make blue eyes stand out!
Golds/coppers/bronzes/burgundy/black colours really make blue eyes pop!

I recently bought an eyeshadow from Too Faced and decided to do a smokey eye with it.
I used the two colours below:
Too Faced Intense Eyeshadow in Copper Peony & Black glitter from the Nyx Smokey Eye Palette.

The end result was this:

My blue eyes stood out like there was no tomorrow and I absolutely loved it. To make my eyes pop even more used the colours not only on my top lid but but on the bottom under my eyes too!

Thanks xxxx

Perfume collection!

I have been perfume crazed ever since I can remember! And it all started when I was about 6 and we were at myer at the mall and my nan goes "what do you want for your birthday? And i pointed at an Avril Lavigne perfume,
not knowing at all what it was, but when she bought it i thought it was the most amazing thing I had ever smelt. Like a flower in a bottle. From then on I would buy as many fragrances as I could and Nan would give me hand me downs haha! And every birthday it was always perfume.

The next perfume was my mums. She doesnt like musky sort of smells in perfumes so she thought i would enjoy it better. Chance by Chanel. It kind of smells like the girl version of this fragrance i bought for my boyfriend which smells absolutely AH-MAZING. It is very musky but with a hint of floral scents.

Vera Wang Princess. Every time I wear this perfume it reminds me of Spring. And the good memories I had with it. And it smells exactly like that: spring. The flowers coming out, sun beaming but still that fresh cold breeze. Mm. Im very suprised it has lasted so long! It also has the prettiest packaging and has the cutest crown on top. I also loved it because of course, i was a little princess when i was younger. So it seemed to fit.

The next perfume i absolutely ADORE. No matter where i go i take this with me. Literally, everywhere. I have always tried to find the perfect fragrance that really suits me and this is definately it! Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent. I ran out if the first one in under 3 months and had to buy a new one! Trying not to use it as much because it is quite expensive

I had heard so many things about Beyonce The Heat, some good some bad, and never considered buying it, but my Nan bought for me for Christmas and I do like it but its not used as so much as the others. If I am going out to dinner to a fancy restaurant this would be my go to fragrance. It literally does smell like the title says: heat. Its has a medium musky smell, not as much as Chance by Chanel but can smell a hint. To be honest, when i first smelt this perfume it reminded me of cruisers, as in the drink haha. Weird right? But thats what it smells like to me. I do love it though.
And the packaging and bottle is adorable. Love the shape!

🔹Fantasy by Britney Spears.

I have actually done a review in this perfume. I only got this fragrance two years ago, a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday. But i had had this fragrance before in a tiny 5ml bottle that came with my first phone i had ever gotten. A pink LG flip phone. They seem like old news now but they were the bomb diggity! This perfume isn't a perfume that most would go for. It is VERY strong, and VERY sweet. Almost over powering if you put to much on. I only dab the tiniest bit behind my ears and still then you can smell it from a mile away. However, once it dies down it leaves a very sweet, candy like smell. And not to mention the bottle is cute. Glad they added the swarovski diamonds otherwise the bottle would be very plain and wouldn't stand out much to buyers.

I bought this perfume in Fiji and i just think it is just wonderful. It reminds me of my Fiji trip because I would wear it lterally everywhere. I bought SO much stuff over there but when i got back it was all I bragged about.

Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift.

This has got to be the weirdest bottle for perfume I've ever seen. But it is Minajesty by - you guessed it, Nicki Minaj. It's a bottle of her. Even though the bottle is very out there and weird, the smell is amazing. I went into the store in Hawaii to buy Killer Queen and ended up coming out with this. This smell is in between over powering and subtle. The secret to good perfume is as soon as you put it on you yourself cannot smell it anymore. And that is what this perfume does. Other people can smell it of course, don't worry about that! It is bulky so i can't really take it anywhere with me unless i take a big bag which is annoying to carry so that is a problem for me with this perfume. But it smells almost watery which is nice compared to all my others which have soet of a harsh smell you could say? Like lilys in the water it smells like.

And last but not least is my newest add to the collection! Katy Perry Killer Queen
I have been trying so hard to get this perfume but so many things have been popping up where i would end up broke and couldn't! But i finally purchased this baby a week ago. I love the bottle! But is annoying because you can't stand it up so you have to awkwardly lie it on its side. Other than that its a sweetly smell again, musk free! 10/10 recommend.

Nyx butter gloss

So I don't normally do lip glosses for the simple reason that when its windy my hair sticks to my lips and my hair gets all gross, and its just too messy! Am I right? But I thought I would give these a try, and they were in sale.

Colours left to right: cherry pie, apple strudel, eclair
(Eclair is not purple but a pale pink, it just came out like that in the photo)

Benefits:
-Whats the point of having lip gloss if there is no gloss or shine? The good thing is this Nyx products has lots of it!
-They smell absolutely amazing! A really sweetly strong vanilla type smell :)
-Great colour range!

Disadvantages:
-Very very sticky!!! So lots of lip gloss in the hair problems.
-Isn't very long lasting. Give it about 5 hours (even less if your eating/drinking) and it will be totally gone.

How I organise my make-up;

So for todays post I thought I would show you how I have organise my beauty products :) it was gettung really cluttered just using my makeup organiser from howards storage world so i bought a tall boy to spread it out!

Starting with my make up organiser:

So where my nail polish is, is where my lipstick holder normally is but it was getting to cluttered so i took it out and now it sits on my desk where it is more accessible! So the top part contains my hair products, the first row is for my and the second, for my styling products. Then next to that in the but sectioned into four, are all my eye, lip, eyebrow pencils/liquids. Next to those are all my mascaras. And then the rest is all nail polish :)

In the first drawer, is for all my powder products. Blushes/pressed powders/loose powders/bronzers, etc.

Then the last drawer is for all my liquid products. So foundation, concealors, and primers :)

Now to my tall boy!

First drawer:

This drawer contains all my beauty things. So as you can see we've got spare make up sponges, some make up removers by neutrogena, sinple eye make up remiver, some cotton buds, deoderant, nude body glimmer, jurileque rejuvinating face myst, nude self tan, tanning oil i got in hawaii and some hair clips.

Second drawer:

This contains all my eyeshadows! Tgis picture was taken before I got my Chi Chi Quads but they are in there now :)

And on my beauty station desk!

Here I have my lipsticks/glosses, brushes and perfumes :) these are my go to items so i like to keep them nice and close! My brush holders are from kmart and the lipstick holder again from howards storage

Hope you guys enjoyed , I will make another once my collection gets bigger! :)

Morning and Night Routine

It is a huge thing for me to keep my skin clean and clear and feeling soft.
So I make sure every morning and night i wash my face and put on these amazing products I am going to talk about today.

So first thing I do in the morning/before i got to bed, is wash my face with the pink bottle you see in the above photo which is Innoxa Renew Triple Action Gel Wash, I then dry my face with a towel and put on Dove tinted moistorizer so my face doesn't go dry after the face wash. Thirdly, I roll the elf eye refresher underneath my eye from the inner to the outer about 12 times to get rid of bags and brighten them up, i also use it over my makeup during the day if it looks like im tired or have shadows underneath my eyes. After I have done that, I then spray jurilique brightening myst spray about 7 times all over my face and neck to soften my skin. Then i apply paw paw cream (this is mostly at night since i put on lipstick/lip gloss on in the mornings for work) and thats it for my face!

Then last but not least, I spray De Lorenzo Leave In Hair Treatment and I leave it in until i next wash it to give my hair more life and protect it from heat and chemicals that i put on my hair.

So there you have it, my morning and night beauty regime :) hope you enjoyed!
