Review: Australis Fresh & Flawless Foundation and Pressed Powder

Today I thought I would give the Australis Fresh & Flawless foundation and pressed powder a go. Foundation is in natural beige and pressed powder in darkest brown.

The foundation had a low to medium coverage, i had to put on two layers but could have used a third. I didn't put a third layer on because I was putting the pressed powder on which gave it the full coverage the foundation needed.

The foundation was my exact skin tone which i was very happy about. I thought that this foundation was going to be a liquid foundation but was actually a cream which made me even more happy because i am not the biggest fan of liquids as some can be oily.

I like my foundation to be pretty matte and by putting the fresh & flawless pressed powder over the foundation it nicely set my make up with matte finished look. Also I didn't have to use very much of the powder to get full coverage.

Because this foundation is so light i wanted to see how it would go just lounging around the house and doing small things like cleaning or homework.

I put my make up on at 1pm, cleaned my room a bit, watched a movie and texted some friends. At 3 o'clock, I checked it out and it was still going good. Looked the same as I put it on. 5 o'clock came and you could slowly start to see the blemishes and the light freckles on my skin. By the time i went to bed at 9:30pm you could see the redness of my cheeks.

It felt amazing on my skin and didn't feel sticky when i touched my face and felt like i was wearing nothing at all, but this combo would not last all day. And with a job like mine, I need it to last the day.

If i am just going to the shops for a few hours or to a friends house, I'd go straight for these two combos :)

Make Up Collection Update

Finally went through and re-organised my whole room today, this included my make up drawers and organizer, it was looking a bit crowded.

I moved my jewellery tree, hair products and nail polish into my closet because it was making my desk too cramped and messy. My dvds were in the first drawer where i have now put most of my make up so theyve gone into the closet too

My make up organiser is looking a bit bare now but im making way for more new products :)

The top bit has my nyx jumbo eye pencils, macaras, eyelid primers, eye pencils, lip liners & liquid eyeliners.

First drawer is full of my lipsticks/lipglosses - minus my favourites, they're in my lip tray on my desk.

Second drawer is just my facial masks. Pretty bare.

Now to my Vanity.
First drawer has BB creams, concealors, blushes, foundations, primers, pressed and loose powders and bronzers.

Second drawer to my vanity is all eyeshadows singles, quads & pallettes.

Third and last drawer to my vanity, is all make up wipes, tanning lotions and extra make up necessities.

Take a look at my old make up collection post and see the difference :)
Hope you enjoyed

Australis Colour Inject Collection

The Australis Colour Inject Lipstick Range is my absolute favourite! Such a wide colour range of colours with the cutest names! I only have half of the lipsticks but am set on getting all of them. They are $12.95 from Priceline and Kmart.

They are sooo unbelievably creamy and stay on your lips for minimum 4 hours. I wear these out clubbing all the time

Oops.. Kmart haul

Hey guys!

So i went to kmart last night and did a cheeky little haul. I needed to stock up on my australis and face of australia products ,as well as elf cosmetics eyeshadows!
All cost under $100! Happpy

First up,
My absolute fave, elf cosmetics Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow. Not only is the packaging cute but the colours are to die for.
They're a creme based eyeshadow.

Left to right: soriee-confetti-gala
(Left was already purchased and not in this haul but had to show because its amazing!)

Next up, Australis fresh & flawless pressed powder in darkest brown. I dont normally used pressed powders but i thought i would get this if somedays i dont feel like wearing foundation I can just quickly dab this on and be on my way. This only comes in fair and darkest brown. So they don't cater for darker skin which i find weird. But other than that small factor, this has been raved about and am eager to try!

I'm love trying new products (mostly foundations, i have so many) so I bought the Australis Fresh and Flawless foundation in natural beige. I like that its so thin but may be a bad thing when it comes to applying it on your face but we will have to wait and see.

Everytime I am in kmart I always contemplate on whether to buy this product or not and this time I decided 'why not'. Its the Australis Eyeshadow Primer.

After watching Lauren Curtis' new youtube video on colourful eyes, I had to go on buy a coloured mascara. This one is by Face of Australia in Electric Blue.

I have become a lipstick fanatic! I actually have a full draw for my lipsticks/lip glosses now. It's getting insane.

From the left: Face of Australia Lip Quench in Forbidden Fruit-Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 20-Australis Colour Inject in Ballet

I don't normally go for pinks but these are just too gorgeous.

Next is the Face of Australia Glossy Lip Crayon. This is sooo creamy its amazing. Absolutely love. Will be buying all of them.

Last but not least,
Maybelline Dream Fresh 8 in 1 BB cream in Medium.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my haul. I will be doing reviews over the week as I use them!

All About Brushes

Hey guys,

This post is all about brushes! I have bought so many through the years and switched and swapped but these will always be my absolute holy grail brushes!

I will soon get the courage to buy Sigma brushes but its not an option right now so they will have to remain on my want list for a little while longer.

Now to the brushes!

Holy grail brushes include:
Real Techniques Powder Brush
Real Techniques Blush Brush
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Bronzer Brush from a 20 brush set
E.l.f. Cosmetics contour brush (mainly use for eyeshadow aha)
E.l.f. Cosmetics Eyeshadow 'C' Brush

For a good quality brush that makes your make up look absolutely flawless, for a great price, Real Technique brushesare the way to go. So easy to hold and gives your makeup the best coverage. If you have some dry places on your face, like I do around my nose, these brushes will definately hide that. Prices range from $12.95 to $44.95 from Priceline Australia (higher prices for sets).

Not only are the brushes cute but so is the packaging!

E.l.f. Cosmetics Brushes are also great quality for money. Both brushes together cost only $8.00 from Kmart Australia!

And a bonus! I love when brushes have there use on the stick of the brush like 'contour brush' or 'powder brush'.

Hope you guys enjoy, and go get yourself some of these brushes! You won't regret it.
